Earlier this week we sent watch newbie (and also our newest columnist) Sarah Miller to a Rolex Boutique to see what the experience feels like for someone just getting into watches. To anyone new to this world, it would seem “The Crown” is the end all be all – so why aren’t they included in what’s often referred to as the “Holy Trinity” of watchmaking? Well, it has to do with Rolex having never entered the world of haut de gamme manufacturing.
